Admission Criteria

To be considered for admission at Al-Ghazali University, applicants must satisfy the following criteria:


General Requirements

  • Submit a complete online admission application through the University Admission Portal.
  • Pass the AGU Admission Test or an approved equivalent test conducted by HEC or recognized international testing bodies.
  • Successfully clear the admission interview.
  • Obtain selection approval from the Admissions Committee.
  • Foreign applicants must provide the required No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the relevant authority, where applicable

 

Undergraduate Admission Criteria

  •  Minimum 45% marks in HSC/Intermediate (or equivalent) and 50% marks in SSC/Matric (or equivalent) for most undergraduate
    programs.
  • Minimum 50% marks in HSC/Intermediate (or equivalent) for Computing programs accredited by NCEAC and Business programs
    under NBEAC.
  • Mathematics at HSC/A-Level (or equivalent) is mandatory for admission to Computing degree programs.
  • Applicants holding foreign qualifications (e.g., A-Levels) must submit a valid IBCC Equivalence Certificate.

 

Graduate Admission Criteria

  •  Hold 16 years of education in a relevant discipline recognized by the University.
  • Possess a minimum CGPA of 2.50 in the qualifying degree or 50% marks where a CGPA is not awarded.
  •  Successfully pass the prescribed admission test and interview process.

 

Merit-Based Selection

Admissions are offered strictly on merit, taking into account:

  • Academic performance in previous qualifications.
  • Admission test score.
  • Interview performance.
  • Availability of seats in the respective program.

 

Transfer Admissions

Students from recognized universities or higher education institutions may apply for transfer admission and transfer of academic credits, subject to
the University's evaluation and approval procedures.

Required Documents


Applicants must submit, as applicable:

  • CNIC or B-Form (or Passport with valid Visa for international students).
  • SSC/Matric and HSC/Intermediate certificates or transcripts.
  • Undergraduate transcript and degree (for graduate applicants).
  • IBCC and/or HEC equivalence certificates, where applicable.
  • Passport-size photographs.
  • Admission test score verification (if based on an external test).
  • Proof of payment of the prescribed admission fee.

 

Final Admission Confirmation


Admission remains provisional until:

  • All required documents have been verified.
  • The prescribed fee has been paid.
  • The Registrar’s Office completes the formal enrollment process and issues the Student ID and Enrollment Number.
