Overview

The MS Islamic Banking & Finance with a Specialization in Islamic Commercial Law (Takhassus Fi Fiqh Al-Mu’amalat) is a pioneering program offered by Jamia tur Rasheed (JTR) since 2008. To further elevate the program, JTR has partnered with Al-Ghazali University (AGU), ensuring students are equipped with contemporary knowledge and skills to thrive in the modern financial world.

This unique and customized 3-year program includes a one-year English Bridge Program (EBP), providing a solid foundation in language and professional skills. Graduates of this program will receive both a diploma and an MS degree awarded by AGU.

The collaboration between the distinguished faculties of AGU and JTR has resulted in a rigorous and comprehensive curriculum, incorporating relevant courses that bridge classical Islamic jurisprudence with modern financial practices, culminating in the prestigious MS Islamic Banking & Finance degree.

For the MS IB&F program, courses attempted in EBP, FUM, and
Foundation will be considered non-credited, zero-semester, and
will not be part of the MS IB&F transcript.
FUM: Takhasus in Fiq Al-Mu’amlaat degree by JTR will be awarded.
EBP: 36 Credit Hours (English Proficiency Diploma by AGU)
MS IB&F: 36 Credit Hours (including Research) program by AGU
