Mr. Imran Majeed is currently pursuing a PhD in Islamic Banking & Finance from INCEIF, Malaysia. Previously, he obtained an MS in Economics from IBA and an MA in Economics from Karachi University. 

He is currently working as a SECP approved Shariah Advisor and has previously worked as a Research Assistant at INCEIF-ISRA. He has also worked on the Al-Mughni Translation and Usool ul Fiqh Project at INCEIF. He has also served as an Assistant Mufti at Jamia tur Rasheed, Karachi. 

He has also completed the specialization in Islamic Jurisprudence from Jamia tur Rasheed and Shahdat ul Aalimiyya from Wifaq ul Madaris. 

As a lecturer he has served at the Karachi University Business School (KUBS), COMSATS Institute and Karachi Institute of Management Sciences (KIMS). 

He also contributed to internationally recognized research publications in his area of specialization.
