Engr. Dr. Muhammad Afzal, PhD, brings a wealth of scholarly depth and academic experience to the esteemed faculty of Islamic Studies at Al-Ghazali University. With a doctoral specialization in modern Western philosophy, Islamic thought, and Elm ul Kalam, he has also attained a postgraduate degree in Kulya tush Shariah from Jamia tur Rasheed. Dr. Afzal’s tenure as a visiting lecturer of Islamic Studies at Bahauddin Zakariya University from 2016 to 2019, preceded by four years of lecturing at the Karachi Institute of Management & Sciences, underscores his commitment to fostering intellectual inquiry and academic rigor.
Furthermore, Dr. Afzal holds a distinguished Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Dawood College of Engineering & Technology, Karachi, demonstrating his interdisciplinary approach to scholarship. His research endeavors have culminated in publications in reputable journals, including a notable contribution on Mu’tazila and Elm ul Kalam recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
