
Dr. Imran Majeed brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the fields of accounting and finance, particularly in Islamic Banking & Finance. He holds an MS in Economics from IBA Karachi and an MA in Economics from Karachi University. His academic credentials are further strengthened by a PhD in Islamic Banking & Finance from INCEIF, Malaysia, where he also contributed as a Research Assistant at INCEIF-ISRA.
Dr. Majeed has a robust background in Islamic jurisprudence, having completed Shahadat ul Alimiyya from Wifaq ul Madaris and a specialization in Islamic Jurisprudence (Takhassus fil Fiqh) from Jamia tur Rasheed. His professional roles include serving as a SECP-approved Shariah Advisor and contributing to significant projects such as the Al-Mughni Translation and Usool ul Fiqh Project.
As an educator, Dr. Majeed has held teaching positions at Karachi University Business School (KUBS), COMSATS Institute, and Karachi Institute of Management Sciences (KIMS). He has also served as an Assistant Mufti at Jamia tur Rasheed.
In addition to his teaching and advisory roles, Dr. Majeed has published internationally recognized research in his area of expertise, contributing valuable insights to the development and application of Islamic finance principles.
