BS Shari'ah and Finance
"With Optional Fast Track Aalim Degree"
Overview
The BS Shari’ah and Finance program at Al-Ghazali University is a comprehensive five-year bachelor’s program designed to integrate contemporary finance education with Shari’ah studies. This program is designed to cater the growing demand from parents and students for a degree that encompasses both modern financial knowledge and traditional Islamic teachings. By offering two majors, Shari’ah and Finance, the program ensures that students gain a robust understanding of both disciplines through a comprehensive curriculum.
The core BS Shari’ah and Finance program spans five years, providing students with a solid foundation in both fields. In addition to the standard program, students have the opportunity to enhance their educational journey by opting for a Fast Track Aalim degree. This additional qualification is provided in collaboration with the renowned institution, Jamia Tur Rasheed. The Fast Track Aalim degree requires an extra year, making the total duration six years. During the initial five years, students (who opt for additional Fast Track Aalim degree) are required to take a few additional courses.
The program offers two distinct pathways. Students can choose to complete the BS Shari’ah and Finance degree in five years, which is awarded by Al-Ghazali University and focuses on contemporary finance and Shari’ah studies. Additionally, students can also opt for the Fast Track Aalim degree. And by spending one more year, students will receive the BS Shari’ah and Finance degree from Al-Ghazali University and the Fast Track Aalim degree from Jamia Tur Rasheed, having completed additional coursework integrated within the first five years.
